Namkha Rinpoche was invited to North America to give various teachings in San Francisco, Chicago, Philiadelphia and New-York. Rinpoche gave teachings in dharma centers, yoga centers, sometimes in families or in schools.

Rinpoche met and share his Views with Dean Radin, a Senior Scientist at the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS). He is author or coauthor of over 200 technical and popular articles, a dozen book chapters, and several books including the bestselling The Conscious Universe (HarperOne, 1997) and Entangled Minds (Simon & Schuster, 2006).

Namkha Rinpoche also gave a public talk on stage during Power to the Peaceful music festival in San Francisco. Power to the Peaceful is a not-for-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to the promotion of cultural co-existence, non-violence and environmental sustainability through the arts and music.
Through their many International concerts, social forums, film festivals and fundraising efforts, they invite people of all ethnicities and faiths to strive for Personal Peace, Community Cooperation, International Co-existence and Environmental Sustainability. Namkha Rinpoche was invited to this music festival to give a talk about situation of Tibet and ways to find peace through patience and compassion.
