Starting 2005 with a new project, Rinpoche kindly accepted an invitation to teach in Amsterdam. The evenings on 'Wisdom and Meditation', the two-day introductory workshop on the Nature of Mind, and finally the Amitayus empowerment were a great joy and inspiration.

In july, for his second visit in Amsterdam, Namkha Rinpoche gave an evening teaching and two-day introductory workshop on 'The Mind of Enlightenment', and finally a Chenrezig empowerment. 

Rinpoche and his main students from Amsterdam decided as well to found an association, to help to organise future teachings and buddhist events in The Netherland. Rinpoche gave it the name Rigdzin Dzogchen Ling.
